To use one of the IM icons at right, simply follow these steps:

Right-click on image you want for your icon, and choose "Save Picture As..." from the menu.

Choose a location on your computer to save the image, and click "Save".

Open your instant messenger program.

Choose "Edit Options", and then "Edit Preferences".

In the resulting pop-up, choose "Icons" from the menu on the left-hand side.

Choose "Browse PC", and select your saved image from the location on your computer where you saved it.

Click "OK".
